As long as you have enough Power in your Fabricator, you’ll be able to upgrade this fortification. Then place it back down wherever you want with Y to finish the upgrade. Press X and you’ll see the visual changes to the fortification occur. As long as your Fabricator is already a higher level than the existing fortification, you’ll be prompted to press X to upgrade it before placing it back down. All you have to do is head over to the fortification that you want to upgrade and pick it up. Upgrading your fortifications is incredibly simple, but the game doesn’t exactly tell you how to do it. This will make them far more resistant to enemy damage, deal more damage, and just generally be far more useful than their standard versions.

To really benefit you in the long run, you’ll want to upgrade your fortifications. However, these will just be standard defenses that, while helpful, are also a little weak. In order to take on the more challenging waves of enemies in Horde 3.0, players will have the Fabricator to help them to build fortifications and powerful weapons. Horde 3.0 is a complete revamping of the classic cooperative challenge from the series.
